Hi Scubabravo. I was wondering if you know of any suppliers of rare and/or exotic Betta Fish. I live in Cape Town and am battling to find one. I love Halfmoon dumbos and am willing to pay good dollar for exquisite Betta. Do you have any leads for me? It would be much appreciated... Thanks.

One test kit that is a great help is Seachem Alert Combo, it continuously monitors your PH and Ammonia levels, a bit expensive but last at least 6 months +

Comes naturally to some more than others. But keep at it. It's very exciting when you first start off driving until you being sent to the store all the time for milk and bread then it just gets annoying.

Phish man, I'm interested in more information on your discus tanks which have the side overflow box fitted. I assume you have built this yourself.
I'm contemplating a tank build with a rear wall 'weir' overflow into an exterior mounted overflow box, as shown in

Do you think this type of system can be utilised with Discus, ie water flow/current?
