      <content:encoded><![CDATA[I&#039;ve noticed yellowing of new growth and on some of the tips of establish leaves of my rotala green. The <i>colorata </i>is getting on really well by comparison and the taller ones will be reaching the surface in a day or two.<br />

My tank doesnt have water yet and was planning to use Scape products, as they have excellent tevoews and are relatively cheap compared to other names.<br />
But since I have these, I will either have to sell them, or give it a go.<br />
<br />

Who uses them and what do you dose?<br />

I would like to set up a Guppy &amp; Corydora tank.<br />
My water is treated borehole water with pH=7.9 and dGH=0.75 (13.4 mg/L)<br />
With the hardness being so low, I want to raise it to at least dGH=8, for the Guppies to thrive. How do I do this without affecting the already high pH?<br />
I read somewhere that carbonate (shells and coral) will increase pH in water until it reaches about 7, at which stage it has very little further effect on pH. Is this true? Is crushed shells/coral the way to go? What...<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[Hi guys, my figure 8 puffers (brackish) is struggling with ich, i bought him last week and luckily he was placed in quarantine bucket (40L) with sponge filter and 28°c temperature from day 1.<br />
<br />
I change the water 50% every 3rd day and treat him with malachite green. His water is brackish using aquarium salt 10g per litre.<br />
<br />
But he is still suffering... Any ideas on how you guys treat ich?<br />
<br />
Note i feed him baby snails as I have 1000&#039;s of baby apple snails. He eats well.<br />

I do blame my self for lack of research I have another tank that is 37L that I have 5 pumpkin shrimp in would it be better for me to raise that tank to 25 and move my betta or can it survive at 22c until I set up a separate tank for it ? <br />
