I don't have any iron ferts, but I do have a potable syrup of 24mg/ml Iron bisglycinate chelate. Using this I made a 2L dosing solution that targets 1ppm Fe per 1ml dose per 10L of aquarium water. I have added 3 ml of this, but am unsure...

My tank doesnt have water yet and was planning to use Scape products, as they have excellent tevoews and are relatively cheap compared to other names.
But since I have these, I will either have to sell them, or give it a go.

So my question:
Who uses them and what do you dose?
I will be running CO2 with led flood lights

My water is treated borehole water with pH=7.9 and dGH=0.75 (13.4 mg/L)
With the hardness being so low, I want to raise it to at least dGH=8, for the Guppies to thrive. How do I do this without affecting the already high pH?
I read somewhere that carbonate (shells and coral) will increase pH in water until it reaches about 7, at which stage it has very little further effect on pH. Is this true? Is crushed shells/coral the way to go? What...

I have the option to purchase a tank, but after viewing it today I could clearly see moving this is not going to be easy at all.

Dimensions:
(L)250cm x (W)60cm x (H)75cm. Tank also has a stand, etc.

Need to transport this +/- 35 km within Gauteng.

Are there any places/people you know of that can assist with this? I do not see myself and father in law moving this.

My one uncle passed away and my aunt wants me to take...

I change the water 50% every 3rd day and treat him with malachite green. His water is brackish using aquarium salt 10g per litre.

But he is still suffering... Any ideas on how you guys treat ich?

Note i feed him baby snails as I have 1000's of baby apple snails. He eats well.
