I ordered two pots of ADA Riccardia chamedryfolia and am expecting delivery today. I've never kept mosses or worts and any advice you might have would be greatly appreciated.

Riccardia, like all worts, is a rock-hugger and I don't have any in my temporary tank, nor is my main tank at all ready to receive anything. Tips for managing that would also be great - if it won't work to just let it float.

I would really love to do a planted tank this time. Can anyone recommend a budget friendly substrate that is of a fairly decent quality. Not planning on doing high end plants. I saw there is an AF brand, but it seems like it will be too much.
