Hey folks, I'm wondering if anyone has experience keeping nerites and if they're worth the hype? A couple things I'm considering

1. I've got a rimless tank, so I'm worried they'll climb out, how common is that?

2. Do they eat green dust algae? I've got some on my hardscape that the amanos and cherries don't seem interested in. Will these guys work?

3. How many would you recommend for a 40l tank. It's mostly plants, just a scattering of rocks and wood centrally

Any advice or feedback...
Yesterday I read a claim that a Blue-eyed rainbowfish (Pseudomugil Gertrudae) can go from an egg to an adult in 60 days. This seems dubious to me so I googled, and it seems that many fish can become adults quite quickly. I know some killifish do this, but they are a short-lived species. In my experience (using many species of nano fish), it's usually about a month before the fry looks like a small fish, then at 4 months they start looking like the adults and at 6 months they are more...
