Can anyone recommend a good RODI all in one system. From what i've seen, most water purification stores seem to sell only the RO units without the deionization chamber. Prefereably i'm looking for a system that has a sediment filter > carbon block > RO membrane > DI chamber. In case you're wondering, I want RODI water for both marine and caridina setups. 1. I've got a rimless tank, so I'm worried they'll climb out, how common is that?

2. Do they eat green dust algae? I've got some on my hardscape that the amanos and cherries don't seem interested in. Will these guys work?

3. How many would you recommend for a 40l tank. It's mostly plants, just a scattering of rocks and wood centrally

I was wondering what the concencus with a night / Moon light over night.

I installed a small single LED diode above the one corner of my tank which bring a very low light straight down with no saturation across the tank and was wondering everyone's thoughts on something like this.

Is there a river/pond in Gauteng that anyone has gone to try get a culture of scuds/seed shrimp/detritus worms for an ecosystem tank? For the life of me I cannot find anywhere that sells them nor do I know which waterways are actually clean/safe to collect from. I've just set up a new 90cm (30gal/ 110l) Odessa barb only planted aquarium, no heater.
I've stock it with 10 large juveniles but I'm keen to increase the number to 15.

Would 15 Odessa's be over stocking the tank once they're adults or should it be fine?
There's plenty rocks with caves, plenty plants (Val & Dwarf Hair grass) and swim space, however they still need to fill...

I set up a tank for them about 3 months ago and I've been cycling, no shrimp added yet, but the heat has been intense this summer and the tank water regularly hits 30C, and that's been stressing me out a bit.
