what is that in the third picture fishcrazy?
its anti-chlorine or water conditioner, and has to be mixed for at least 1 hour before adding to the tank...thats the way i do it...

you could also try some Zeolite resin, i paid R10 for a bottle of it...it helps to remove ammonia, nitrite and nitrates, just a thought, i used...

yeah, salt does work, but use aquarium salt...you can google it dasher...
they really are wonderful fish, their personalities are amazing, my oscar is so jealous, that if i look at any other fish in the tank, he will...
