Lol - see this thread has not had much love.

Had to replace the LED strip after some water killed the LED's, thanks have been running with no lights for a good few weeks / maybe even months.

Got some new 900mm strips today.

The green stuff .. moss.

 

I dont have any luck with moss

 

It looks like Java Moss, which can grow like a weed if given half a chance.

 

Added an impulse buy to that stand ... a 1,5 Watt 5 volt USB fan - might be suitable for guys that want to reduce tank temps.


It is the Russell Hobbs USB Mini Desk Fan and no it is not 15 Watt as the box or web says ;-)

Nah he only has two with him in that tank .. the old lady and then a very young one keeping an eye.

The other two are in blackjack .. here is one of them.

Shot, yeah he is just a bit slow at getting the nest done, think I will go and find some foam cups - split them then he can build under one of those.

Finally got the extra lights weird up on the stand.

So normal 220volt + room lights (sonoff) + extra lights (sonoff TH16 with the temp humidity probe at floor level).

This is just the extra light lit now.



For the first time since 2010 I have no PC on it ... feels weird walking into the room like this.
