The hardest part of setting up a tank like this is deciding what to stock it with:confused::confused:. I have this idea in my head but the fish keep changing:lol:

    I think it looks stunning

Now...( not sure if you doing it or not) but depending on what fish you getting and feeding regime, keep an eye that not too much debris gets trapped between the rocks and wood
If you see you start having a problem, invest in two wave makers to help blow the debris to your filter

Thanks MariaS , I have got one that I will be using from the start and will monitor but I thinks it's going to be a problem no matter what... will be worth it if it pans out thought.

Its definitely worth atry and if it works, fantastic

Remember that with a tank that size, it is very difficult to get your circulation perfect beforehand
You do your best according to what you imagine will be right
Once the tank is up and running, you then make small adjustments as you see its needed

Thanks f-fish, now it's just the maintenance and stocking... I will run it for a few months with a couple tilapia that I have floating around then once I like the way it's going I will make my decision on what I'm going to stock... ie malawi, tang, community etc etc etc..o_O

It's the cheapest way to fill a tank. In fact, get pure endlers and the tank will look after itself!

I can't wait to see this thing full

That looks stunning, this was a looong build, but man worth it for the end results. The textured walls are pure genius - tank is something to be proper proud of.

    Later Ferdie
