Ummmmm.. 22 loaches.... but 7 are in my pup tank.. cleanup crew
They easier to catch when you do a water change and the water level is low but still a mission

Im selling one of the Aros.. either the Blue base or the Chilli Red (not Spooky)

We had to take three, minimum quantity to fill the box o ( the 24kt, the blue and the red) but we actually only wanted two
We decided we would give it a try and see if the two would get along together but its not working
You either need 4 or 5 to disperse the fighting or 1 only.. two is not a good idea

    Thanks @GaryG

I love my Aros and my rays but the loaches have a special place in my heart.. love them.
They are just so peaceful and adorable with their antics

If memory serves me right.. you had quite a few too and a very big one?

I had been debating on moving them to the bigger tank as some are getting quite big so yesterday when i did a water change, I moved them across
Not an easy task... between the water change and catching the little buggers it took me most of the morning
Used the rubber net we use for the rays so fortunately no one's little spikes got caught in the net

Will post a video of them in the new tank

Yes I had a nice collection of loaches, 2 huge clowns I really miss them, catching them was always a bugger, I would put some short 50mm PVC pipes with a stopper at one end in the tank a few days before the move and remove all the other hiding places, then on the day, remove half the water, they hide in the pipes and you put the net on the open end of the pipe...and most of the time you got them...

    Hi
Hi There. New member here. I would love to know more about the water change procedure you /Cesar follow. I am on a farm and also run borehole water.

    Your tank looks amazing.

I am planning a new, 5ft tank. I'm impressed with the 2 internal filters. Very clever.

But I am feeling a bit daunted by the maintenance situation. How often do you gravel vacuum/ clean the filtration etc?
