Great rocks! More rocks and driftwood would be great, if you could build some height at the back, and a focal point at one of the 'thirds'..

Thanks Man, Will do. It's just hard for me to get the rocks and Driftwood I'm looking for. I'm a real Fussy Guy when it comes to getting of those two things. Would definitely not mind to get some more rocks like the ones I have. Like the idea of building some height as you said!

Had a little incident early yesterday morning, about +/- 10 minutes or so before I should get up for work.

My one 110L aquarium cracked and all the water spilled out over the entire floor of my computer room. Luckily through the course of the week I got bothered somehow and started clearing up possible electrical problem should something like this also occur and I moved all the baby guppy fry and convict fry to my 3ft community tank.

To cut the story short, beware of 2nd hand aquariums at all times as I had this one for about +/- 5 months and all went fine until yesterday morning. Was looking into converting this tank to a sump for my 250L main tank, but will now have to make other plans.

Up side on the story had no casualties and no serious problems that I know of yet.

I pulled the tank apart and threw away most of it.

That's extremely frustrating. @Ortaega sorry to hear about the tank. Luckily you didn't lose any of your livestock and no damage done to any electronics and so on. Luckily for you the 3 ft tank already running came in handy.

    True,

Real glad my Fiance Bought me the replacement end of December. If it wasn't for that I might have had some casualties or have caused some serious stress on my little fish mates.

    Thanks,

Unfortunately this tank is about +/- years plus old already (found out yesterday),it was a hand me down tank to several people over the years. I will not 100% say this is the case as the tank was standing directly on the floor below my 250l tank. It did seem level however I did not test my fact on this matter yet. Assumed should be fine as was also standing on Polystyrene.

Lesson learned. Will definitely be more careful in the future

Had some Bad luck, Woke up this morning and when I was busy feeding my fish I realized that my tank was allot quieter than usual. I did some check and saw that my Cascade 200 HOB I Purchased just under a year ago is no longer working. I had a power interruption somewhere during the course of Monday (whilst i was at work) and it seems that the pump might have blown/burnt out. The back of the HOB was half filled with water and when I plugged it out and in again nothing happens. will take all apart tonight and check.

Ooh, that's not good, flip man.. So no sound at all when plugged in? I have a cascade 200, it does can be difficult to prime after a power failure.. It's possible that after it lost prime but the power came back on, the motor started overheating and a thermal trip turned it off - if that was the case then it should be fine this evening as it will be cool. But I have no clue if they do have a thermal trip, so it may just be broken

Jip, believe that is exactly what happened :(. I do hope that it will be fine if I get home, luckily I have another small internal filter I could temporarily setup for now. Should be sufficient for 1 or 2 days. I'm going to buy the one Eheim Classic 150 from a fellow Tasa member this afternoon and belive in the long run this might ad more value to my tank :).

Thanks for the Advise though will be really glad if it still works. There is absolutely no sound or any movement/vibrations from the pump if I plug it in now. I have experienced in the past that I had to fill up the hob with water immediately after I had a power failure and seldom it was fine by itself when this happened. I made the mistake not check it this time and thought all was fine (baaaad mistake from my side.)

    Damn, the HOB is DEAD!!!

Nothing Happens if I Plug it in. In the end I decided on taking the Tetra EX 700, instead of the Eheim Classic 150. In a way wished I took the Eheim instead as there is a bit of a leak on the IN take ball valve of the Tetra. Not really sure how to fix this.

I have to ask is the angel with the bigger belly pregnant or sick. She was alone until a month ago then I added one and then this week Saturday I added another hoping out of the 3 I might get lucky and obtain a pair. Below the pics of them. 1st pic is the one added 2 weeks ago, 2nd one is the one from the weekend and last 2 is of my original one I had for last 2months and I only realised the belly before I switched of lights to go to bed.
