    Hello again Cape Town TASA members (and not-yet members ;))

    Hope everyone is settling into the new year nicely.

    Our next meetup is on Saturday 25 Jan 2020 from 10-11am.

    At RBM Aquatics in Belville, our local forum sponsor with something for everyone (marine & freshwater, aquascaping etc).

    To kick off the new year, the first of our new species spotlight series:

    - @Chandz will chat to us about apistogrammas (ideal setups, parameters, temprament, tankmates, breeding etc). Won’t be super formal nor super long. Others who keep apistos can of course chime in.

    Chandre, please could you confirm that it’s still cool with you?

    - I’m happy to do the first plant species spotlight just to get the ball rolling. Will see what they have in stock on the day, perhaps a staple such as Java fern which is so versatile!

    Hope to see many of you there, ‘old’ faces and new, forum lurkers and forum stalkers :lol:
    It’s just a very informal “bump into each other at a fish store” vibe, an opportunity to chat to other hobby nerds, look around, network, learn something new, ask questions, and exchange knowledge.

    Please could you volunteer for future species spotlights in the area of your interest & experience, and share the love :thumbup: We can also discuss the ideal frequency of meetups etc, perhaps sommer on the forum.
