50L Starfire Desktop tank

Hi all

I waited for this a long time, since I ever saw one the first time at a LFS about 2.5 years ago.
With my first fathers day my dream came true as a present from my darling wife.
She got me a 50l starfire tank.

Luckily the Aquasoil, water and filter came from the old crappy garage tank. So no need to break the tank in.
Drift wood was already soaking for a month just in case.(Was planned for the 3 foot rebuild with some others pieces soaking.)
Only new addition is the Colorado sand

Wow that's awesome! Great desk area! And happy first Fathers' Day, I spent my second Fathers' Day changing substrate in my new 2ft while my wife watched on, was really cool...

So a small update.
I replaced the wood in the tank. Every time I clean the glass I would dis lodge the wood and cause chaos with the substrate and foreground sand.
So I now replaced it with a peace I can easily take in and out as I need.
