God help me :'( Two one-day old rescues I just took in. They have eaten a little bit but are very weak. Heating pad is on and my repeat alarm is set. Please send them all the good vibes and things you do. Thank you.

My heart melts when I look at them. I imprinted immediately lol - T. gondii hard at work with the biological mind control. :p

I didn't get much sleep last night - but they are doing well and are drinking and mewling loudly when attenshuns are lacking. One is much weaker than the other which has enough strength to crawl about. But I think it'll pull through. The first two or three days are critical.

I have three padded cat housies on the edge of my bed where my other floofs sleep - I made a nest out of a carrier for the bebbes that went next to that - they are less than impressed with the newcomers and slept in the room next door. They will have to deal XD

Thanks. Somebody on my neighbourhood Whatsapp group posted about a litter of kittens they found in their shed, seemingly abandoned by mom who was nowhere to be seen. Three of the kits had died already (or were stillborn) and it seemed like a life-or-death situation - and here we are.

Thankfully it's not my first rodeo raising newborn kittens but I am already dreading the complete loss of sleep for the next week or so.

No idea what breed/hybrid they are but I'm seeing the beginnings of the classic forehead "M" of maine coons... we shall see!

If they make it, that will make the collection of pussies in the household tally nine... Lil Miss Lococatlady

most of my tabby coloured cats had an M on the forehead, i wouldn't get my hopes up about maine coons, people tend to look after these better as well..
