Alex has been so patient and meticulous in planning out this tank, it’s going to look increasingly awesome as it grows in. Love the wood bridge and the see through aspects in the peninsula tank @Whoknows . Low tech, easy category plants. Some of the wood is still boyant, hence the rocks on top.

You're making me want to do the peninsula again
    This tank is amazing:thumbup:
He says the top of the tank is 6ft tall. Which is about as high as my 2.2 meter should be. I feel like he's going to struggle with maintenance there :(

He’s particularly tall so the added height was important to him to be able to enjoy the tank while standing up... luckily also low maintenance plants that won’t require constant pruning. Hopefully his arms are long enough or he has an extended or magnetic algae scraper :D

A Channa species. Polys have dorsal spines, so no long dorsal fin ;)

I wonder why people like enjoying the tank standing up? Feel like that would get uncomfortable after a while:lol:

Ada pro razor will help him clean it

His DIY filter and the way he used the wood as waterfall is just so simple yet genius!

Dennis Wong has a website called The 2 Hour Aquarist, lots of pretty good info there. He also has a great collection of aquascapes for inspiration too: https://www.2hraquarist.com/blogs/aquascaping-ideas

Steve Chong (IAPLC no 2) shows, using photoshop, how he would improve the Spanish top 10 competition scapes. He has such an eye!
