Hi! As by the title, I just got back into the hobby, and would spend more on it if I wasn't a bankrupt student!

When I was in primary school, we kept a 60l tank with tetras and loaches and danios, but when my dad got a 1,2m tank, the 60l went to the garage after holding an out of control population of guppies (as it happens).

Fast forward a few years and my dad replaced the 1,2m with a 1,5m 400l forest of a tank.

Last year, we had some comet goldfish breeding in a pond outside, so I took extra plants from the 400l and two of the babies and started growing the baby plants to sell. The goldfish went outside when they got too big, and were replaced with 4 swordtails that bred (but sadly passed away when I added wood without knowing they do not like tannins. I was distraught), and two peppered catfish, whose babies I am still trying to sell (FB doesn't let you sell fish for some reason?!?!?!).
Early this year, I got two GBRs with the hope I could make some quick pocket money, but both turned out to be female. I'm waiting for the LFS to get a male in, but I might not breed them at the end of the day and just let them live out their lives (they only live a year or two anyways).

The peppered catfish on the other hand are breeding with their own children.

I also have 3 dwarf gouramis - one male and two females - who are trying to breed but keep eating their own eggs.

I currently have two 60l tanks (Tank 1: rams, 4 catfish babies, shrimp; Tank 2: gouramis, the rest of the catfish (~12),shrimp), and my dad has his massive tank in the front, with everything from cherry barbs, harlequins and cardinals to siamese algae eaters, coolie loaches and sterba's corys.

In terms of plants, we just have some huge amazon swords, vallis, gargantuan anubius, water and java fern, and duckweed to throw you dead with.

In the future, I'd like to try out more planted aquarium style. I also want to try out more live food options.
For now, please advise me on how to sell these catfish! LFS won't take them unless they're for free.

This looks like a great place to get answers, and I already learnt a lot reading through past posts before I created my account this evening.

Unfortunately selling anything that's easy to get in CPT means you're going to have to sell it for almost free. Sometimes, breeding groups are worth money.

But welcome back to the hobby! This place is great for asking questions about almost anything. However if you're looking for rarer species you're going to have to network to find local group chats !

Welcome back to the hobby. Do you have any pics of the fish you are trying to sell?

Welcome back. You can list your fish here in the livestock classified section. Just remember pictures, price and location
