    I am too ashamed to post a picture of my male, the ladies beat him up a bit. I was wondering if anyone has a female as big as my cambodian one? Perhaps even bigger? She is a terror, kills guppies by grabbing their stomachs.

    My Mollys tail just got chomped, is it normal for a betta to do this? Hasnt happened before and Im getting some nice fish in so Im a bit nervous my Betta might do it to them?

    My first betta i bought 2 months ago. Was actually looking for a royal blue crowntail when i saw this guy in the shop.
    Really amazing how intelegent they are.

    @ Miller, that is very very weird. Betta are not normally like that , are you sure it`s not a case of your Molly got fin rot and the Betta started eating him as the Molly was perishing ? I find Betta like like softer acidic water , Molly like harder more alkaline water , so under normal circumstances I wouldn`t keep them together. Molly tend to get clamped fins and fin rot Of the conditions they live in are not idea.

    The Betta bit the tail of my Molly and my Corry. I took it out and put it in a bowl where it died overnight, I see the chemical I used for the bowl only removes chlorine not chloramine so I think that was the problem. ..got some Seachem Alpha now. Its a pitty, It was such a beautiful Betta. I have Disucs now and was worried the Betta would bite their fins as well.
