Wanted: Canister filter Wanted

I’m not really too sure, I have seen a cascade 1500 for R1500. I’d prefer to not spend a fortune if possible but the right thing is more important

 

You can get a brand new Sobo SF-1500F for around R1500 @Rebel pets. I have one on my 90L tank and it's more than adequate. The only downside is that the intake/return pipe fitting and elbows are plastic and use thin o-rings - and they can leak air if they're torqued by the weight of the hosing. Also it doesn't come with any media apart from a thin pad, but that's cheap as chips.

 

Thanks you! I am looking for something for a tank that’s almost 500L. From what I can see the cascade is 1500l per hour which will be fine as the tank will be heavily planted and largely self sustaining. Thanks for the heads up, I’ll check it out
