Which of the three tanks do you like the most??

  1. 1. The 250l discus tank

  2. 2. The 100l high tech tank

  3. 3. The 16l low tech shrimp tank

Just to add some clarity, this is normal practice in handling discus for measuring or what ever purpose. I can pick mine up without a net if I wanted and prefer this over a net as a net can damage fins. They lay perfectly still when on their sides like that and no harm comes to the fish if you don't throw them against a wall. Discus aren't made of glass like most think, they are tough little fish if conditions are met and the fish are healthy, picking them up like that does no harm.

Hey man. So I did it this way mainly due to space issues. I was told that all equipment needed to be hidden in the stand and I still needed my reservoir for water changes in there and so I went up

    Thanks @BoelderBeestie

Yes the fish was not harmed and is luckily still alive today even though he went through this extremely traumatic ordeal:tt2:;)

So as some of you might have seen I decided to sell off my discus.

Luckily they have gone to a very good home.

This will give me more time to concentrate on my studies and to setup my future discus tank that I want to do.

So for now I just have a 4ft ram tank that I might use to try breed some Rams.

The rams already try spawn each week. Just need to lower my TDS and KH and we might get some fertile eggs
