Decapsulating BS eggs is very easy to do,in fact most members will be able to do it after watching the tutorial.

Why do we decapsulate BS eggs?
    1. to increase the hatchrate.
    2. To feed the decapsulated eggs "as is" to fry.

This was inspired by reading Irma's post on Apisto Fry.
To preserve TASA bandwidth i embedded the Tutorial Here:

Last night I was local for information on hatching BS eggs and I came onto the same link. My friend try to hatch eggs but they never hatched. He bought the BS mix already with salt. He immersed the bottle into his tank with air-stone and two days later BS eggs did not hatched. Had he to also insert a heater into this bottle or would the heated tank water trigger these eggs to hatch? In the video clip they add warm water into the bottle and they raise the PH of the water. PH ? and water temp? After 24 hrs BS eggs hatched.

I've got one of those Immersed type BS Hatcheries(that i do not use anymore)
    They work perfectly.

But i,ve changed to two 2litre coke bottle setups because i want to hatch more .This is typical of my setup.

The eggs not hatching could be that it was stored under too high temperatures.
Be carefull of adding too much salt as well.
Decapsulated bs eggs will yield a much higher hatch rate.
Try adding Baking Soda(Koeksoda) as well.
