Designerguppy Challenge 2

Good day all.

Well the first comp is almost at its end this December, will have to see who lasted the test of time and what results we got.

With that in mind I was thinking its time to get ready for round two. This will give everybody enough time to get all there fish, tanks and banks in order.

So this thread is to gauge interest for the next challenge.

I will try my best to get more people involved this time around from other platforms too and somebody @FINS volunteered a prize

So please put your name up if you game.

Ad a 250 liter 10-12 mm glass tank up with the , make it 4 X 300 watt heaters and 100 guppies of choice . If it happens that I win it will go to the first inline .
Is that ok Vis

How are you coming along with the rules Vis?

I hope you will still be able to attract interest for this now that there is no longer a prize up for grabs.

 

Rules are slow sorry, between fighting veld fires, crime and my day to day job I struggled to find time.

Will see if we can find another prize but it's more of a challenge then a competition. People in it for a prize normally don't last the year it takes. Will issue you a official Designerguppy electronic certificate

Got some interest from another forum and on the Facebook group.

But if no one enters I am still doing it.
@Reedfish the thread of the original challenge with the rules disappeared, can it be found?

 

I am still interested even if there is no prize as I think its a great idea .

 

Maybe we can break it up on progress at a given time etc.some projects take longer than a year etc.definitely interested

 

We can try that, open to ideas as its a rather new thing. A year can get long for some.

 

I'm not too bothered about the prize either. I don't know where i would have put a hundred more guppies anyway.

 

My husband and daughter are in @Vis . also not doing for prize but rather fun

 

The thing is we have no way to verify honesty in this. So I want people that enter to do so out of love for fish and breeding.

 

I remember it was made a sticky in the livebreader section and then moved to the competition section. Later it just disappeared.

 

I am in for the next round. I am going to take final pics of my results of the current competition this weekend - but I will have to keep better record of the next entries! The blue male I got from Vis is bringing a whole new dimension to my lines.

It is fun to breed and in general I am very satisfied with my first efforts - I do have a few lines breeding relatively true.

Looking forward to the competition.

And for any one coming to Rustenburg, I do have lot of potential new line guppies for free.
