The glass in and out let cost R550 each.
Then it works out to R2850 to replace the filtering setup with new, but will get some pictures on later.

Ive had a sump filter and adding CO2 doesn't help when you have splash in the filter setup. I've sold the CO2 and went back to low maintenance plants so I've connected the sump filter again, therefore selling the canister.

I'm in Erasmusrand just off Rigel ave.

 

Got time today to take out filter and upload some pictures gave it a clean-up as well.

The plastic in/out lets is still available. The inlet I only have the glass but for the outlet there is the top bar drip unit and then small elbow plastic outlet piece.

 

I've made a up my own plastic inlet. It just not a pretty inlet but mine stands in the sump overflow cavity so you dont see it. But I'm sure if you get better looking pipe or spray it black you can make it to appear better in the tank. I've thought about using clear flexibly hose but it isn't that straight unless you brace it with something to straighten it.
