Henk, you are referring to the same corrupt dim wits that clear all the illegal fish at customs to begin with... thus I am correct to say that it is actually a mute point to argue.

Clearly they are an incompetent bunch of freeloaders and should be removed from office, I do not hold them in any esteem and neither should anyone for that matter.

Bobeyente, unfortunately I have to agree with Henk here...

Whether or not these gov departments know what they're doing is not the point. The point is clear and simple - these species are prohibited from import and we as a forum cannot support their local trade in anyway - especially by posting pics of banned species and passing negative comments on the authorities responsible as this could only eventually lead to severe restrictions being imposed... and then we're not going to think those guys are that stupid.

Back to the subject... those Apistos look good! The double red is not very red though - might be due to the lighting or are they still settling into their new tank?

Apistogramma only start developing color once they are mature, this is a well known fact. That fish is currently a third of its eventual size, so you can do the math on what it is going to bloom into once it is mature if it looks like that already.

@ Dolphin Thank god our democracy is based on a little bone of contention called freedom of speech, that means you may not agree with what is being said however you have to deal with it. Should you choose not to exercise that right it is your prerogative, I am not that way inclined nor was I raised to sit on the side and shut up.

It is still a mute point....
