Today I purchased 7 new CA and SA cichlids. I'll post what they are as I manage to get photos. They are all juveniles so they are not exhibiting their best colours yet.

    Very nice.
    I like the salvini.
Have had one in the past, but he was a little monster. Very aggro.

Thanks @Reedfish this is my first time keeping them. I have a mix of aggressive cichlids but they will outgrow the tank which is 500l but I am hoping that they will 'get along' for awhile at least.

Nice photos of the other cichlids that follow.

I had a mix of SA/CA cichlids in my 550L tank
It took a while to get the balance right. And I had a few more placid species than you have (Uaru, Chocolates, Geophagus)

    Thanks @howard and @top dog
@Reedfish Yeah it was hard deciding on which species but I did a lot of research and I think this should work out... only time will tell.

Looking at the list of cichlids you have in a 500L tank, I think they will need to be thinned out as time goes by.
    They are nice really.

@Reedfish Thanks yeah I'm planning on selling them as they get bigger. Just not sure which species I want to keep in the end. We'll see how it goes. Have you kept Oscars before?

Of yours, I have never kept
    Oscar
Jack Dempsey (have had electric blue JD)
    Green Terror

Have kept the rest over the years.

The Oscar, GT and RS Severum are my favourite so far but the Salvini is the prettiest. The JD reminds me so much of my Malawis.

I have had to remove the Green Severum because it was harassing the Red Spotted Severum constantly. That leaves 6 cichlids.

Is it just me or do the images appear to be under saturated when uploading onto here?

Stunning fish @EnvironmentalBro - Keep us updated! Hope they don't get too big too quickly.

Thanks @Jack Stone they are growing quickly and eating a lot. The colours on this guy are amazing :) A pity it looks a little desaturated on here.
