    Very nice @Pezulu
What substrate is it, and is it active or inert? I like the colour of it against the green - looks like real garden soil.

    Thanks @A new day

    Substrate is Seachem Flourite Dark.
It is not quite as dark as Flourite Black, and a lighter reddish brown than Flourite Red.
The pebble size is bigger than Flourite Black, which put me off in the beginning.
Currently there is only Cryptocoryne Lutea planted in it, with the rest of the plants on driftwood.

@Amakawa that’s a stunning mature clump of susswassertang, used to great effect to almost look like topiaries ! Have you anchored it to anything or does it simply stay put?

@Pezulu is the texture of Flourite Dark suitable for corys, you think? Or too sharp?

@hotdog83 just the other day I showed @Donny where I’d like to set up a 60cm cube angel tank (rimless). Yours look a great deal like what I have in mind (will be another couple of months though).

If you don’t mind sharing: What are your tank dimensions and glass thickness? Is it a custom build?

I like how you staggered the lights, probably to get an even spread and ensure light penetration down in front. Looks sleek.

Sure, it is 60cmx60cmx50cm in 8mm glass. Second hand tank I got from a friend of mine, think he built it himself. The lights are some light bars a friend of mine imported from China directly for marine tanks, I just changed 4 chips per strip to get better spectrum for FW (Tried to get a 100 score according to http://spectra.1023world.net/ ). The staggering is for that, yes, but also because of the fern that goes up high in the back on the wood. The strips are 18x3w chips, but only run at around 1w per chip, so 54w total, works well so far, although tank has only been set up a month or so. Altum angels has always been my ultimate fish, so can understand your angel cube. :)

Hi all. I'll throw my hat into the ring with my jungle aquarium.

    Full M.jpg
Plants grew larger and bushier than initially planned, but I like the lush/jungle look. Fish and shrimp enjoy it too.

    Hope y'all enjoy!
