    Technically you can't "sell" blacklisted plants.. As they're illegal.. But giving them away on the quiet is usually how it would go with these sorts of things. Not sure about the frogbit, but the water lettuce is blacklisted. Ofc I stand to be corrected, maybe the laws on them have changed like with axolotls

    I bought them from a petshop here years ago. Been selling them as apposed to just throwing them in the compost. Thanks for your input

    Have the laws on axolotls changed? From my understanding all amphibians are illegal. Could you post a link please?

    To be fair @T. Guppy is correct. Whether or not a Petshop sells them does not automatically make them legal. They are blacklisted and prohibited from being sold on the forums. As stated, if you want to give away, that's another story.... just my 2c

    You have valid points I agree. So the R10 is just a handling fee. Not selling fee:thumbup:

    @TheGrissom I don't unfortunately have a link, I'll be honest I just saw other discussions on it and didn't check it up. Possibly also the same as floating plants - illegal to sell but quietly passing one on to another isn't? I did read that it isn't illegal to keep if you have one, but again that wasn't an official document I read that up on. I'll go hunting for the updated NEMBA list

    EDIT::
    I've found the 2020 list and axolotls are not listed.
    Water lettuce is listed as Category 1b. (you may not import it, sell it or transport it, propagate/breed it, but if you have it in your possession you can still keep it).
    Frogbit is also not listed so that can be sold.

    @Anks Sorry for hijacking your thread. And I'm also not trying to stop you giving away any, we've all done it so would be hypocritical. And I know this is a very triggering topic that has resulted in arguments before so again, I apologise if I have ruffled any feathers.
