Hello Again after 4.5 years

    For now the 2 smaller tanks will have to do just to keep me busy , until I manage to convince my better half to get a bigger tank

    Hey Guys . hope everyone is well , Was playing around with the 2 foot tanks and managed to get one of them done , let me know what you guys think ,

    Looks good.

    I would - at least the java moss. It gets everywhere eventually and you will not get rid of it again without a complete redo of the tank. And even then all it needs is a tiny piece to remain somewhere and its back again

    Fantastic job. What did you use in the foreground? Looks like s repens perhaps plus something else.

    Removing the mosses helped the hardscape shine, I think.

    Thanks. I redid it in March due to hair algae, now trying to grow some Lilaeopsis brasiliensis as a carpet.

    I'm quite slow to the party :( only found this thread now but if you still have the broken tank. I know of another broken 4ft from a friend. Let me know if you want the glass. Then you can get it up and running again. :cool::cool:

    Thanks Bud ,Its a normal Linear 18 watt LED tube , brand name is POILED.They are tri proof and super light weight

    I'm sure they do as this is locally manufactured in Durban. They come in 2 feet , 4 feet and 5 feet lengths
