    55 gal
Aeration stone in center of tank
Filters on either side one is whisper 10-30gal & the other is aqua tech 30-60
    Parameters:
    Ammonia:0
    nitrite:0
    Nitrate:15ppm
    Ph 7.8
Live plants: mondo grass, java fern, moneywort, anacharis, Marimo moss balls, very little java moss
    Fish:
    1 female Venustus (Stella)6.5"
    1 female red zebra (Nemo)(sold as a lab)4"
    2female kenyi 2"&1.5"
    1 male kenyi 2"
1 unknown sex yellow electric lab 1"
    2 kribensis mated pair
    2 rubber nose plecos 1.5"
3 giant danios sex unknown, soon to be moved to another tank.

My plan is to upgrade to a 75 or 125 gal within a few months. I want a male venustus for sure & if need be 2 more females & 1 male to make 3/1 ratio that's recommended. I would prefer to just have one female if that's possible. If anyone has any experience please share.

Next is my dilemma of just finding out what I thought was a female yellow lab is actually a red zebra. So I bought what I was told by a lfs was a male yellow lab. Other hobbyist have informed me that my real yellow lab is too young to be sexed. Ugh. So I'm torn. I'm not sure if I should get more red zebras or get more yellow labs. Either way somebody is going to be the odd ball out.

Also moving the kribs to their own tank within 2 days or so. It's already fully cycled I just have to get motivated.

I know it's a lot of questions. I currently don't have aggression issues but if it happens we will be upgrading sooner than expected & the kenyi will remain alone in the 55.

The next what I believe to be a true yellow lab. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1407128851.649795.jpg
A few more of him/her (sold as male)

Oh he is beautiful!!! Thanks for the confirmation!! Do you breed them or know of any good online stores? I placed an other with live aquaria which is due to arrive tomorrow so hopefully the fish arrive in good health.

He has mated with both my female zebra and my lombardoi.
    Maybe try the sponsors?

Do the males have more of a blue hue to them? My female has no blue at all & is closer to orange now than yellow like she was as a juvenile. She does have 3 egg spots but I'm positive she is female because she tried to cross breed with a red jewel (rehomed) she was carrying for a long time. A lfs I went to today placed an order for 4 of them unsexed & said that I could take none or all but they are not willing to vent & I don't want more than one male. Most places online I have seen do not sex them :/

Without venting its quite difficult to tell them apart when they are young. With mine before I found out about venting I noticed the male had fewer egg spots than the female. But I have found out that is not a hard and fast rule. Since you have no choice perhaps get them and rehome the ones you don't need
