Thought I'd share some of the images I've been taking now that I entered the world of camera phones....


Suspected male - Neolamprologus similis - getting used to it's new tank



A couple juvenile male Tropheus Ilangi that passed through as imports - part of a group of 8, these two were in time-out at the time, they were soon separated from each other as well.

Thanks for sharing jack. Ectodus looks interesting read up on them few days ago. I still want ocellatus... waiting patiently lol

@francoisve - can't seem to get those attachments working, uploaded correctly and what not, displaying when I try edit the post... admins? @Reedfish - Shot man! They're one of my favourites! Very busy characters! @Nawaaz - Shot man! Keep in touch re. Occies - plenty in grow-out. @Caudelia - Never too late for a small Tanganyika set-up - neat little 90cm x 33cm with some shell dwellers tucked away in the corner... decently light, nice open scape....

 

@Jack Stone the mind is working overtime! Need to find the budget for it,,,

 

Hehehe @Caudelia - you can pick up some decent tank deals on Gumtree, nothing fancy needed to keep these fellows. Pick up a quick deal, stroll on down to the beach for decor and you only have the fish to deal with... perhaps you can make a deal with one of the local breeders... ;-P

I've never found Tanganyika tanks expensive to set-up... the livestock on the other hand... it's how it should be, no point in paying good money for a tank just to watch Neons... :tongue:

 

@Jack Stone will take your advice - I hope I can find livestock though, the lfs only ever stocks frontosa mb the odd tangi here n there

 

@Caudelia - I fly fish up to Durban regularly, R200 for two bags. Shouldn't need any more.

 

Ok @Jack Stone, let me set up a tank first

You must keep my shellies aside for when I get my tropheus.... I hope soon.... when I gonna sert up the tank I will collect them just to give them a head start before I introduce the tropheus to the tank.... and I thank you...
