So imagine my surprise to see this today ! I only hope these little guys can survive in the community tank. Until I can get breeder box tomorrow. Mom and dad are doing a brilliant job so far protecting them though. I didn’t think this would happen for a while as dad is still young .

You can leave them if the parent's are looking after them.

Yup I’m really impressed with no and dad , they are brilliant parents. I thought for sure those babies would have been eaten by now . However they seem happy and thriving at the moment .

Thanks  I can tell you from experience they are awesome fish. Not aggressive but are protective of their young. Even so they haven’t hurt any of the fish in the community tank.

Haha funny you say that, the first time my angels layed their first eggs i was doing a quite rough waterchange (barebottom tank) with a bucket and the female flung herself through the thick current just to smack a naboring angel in the face..lol
a Real unique and beautiful fish! Keep us updated on the growth, looking forward to it :D

Hey guys here is another update , so far twelve of the guys have survived so far . All healthy and considering they share the tank with yo-yo loaches I’m seriously impressed so many have survived.

Just thought I would mention, I haven’t cleaned the algae of the rocks and drift wood as they like eating it . Also for those who have asked the little white dots in the water is not ick, it’s actually tetra baby food. It’s the only time they stay still long enough to take photos . Lol!!
