So i made a big mistake. There were 2 holding, and I put them both in a temp tank.
They were not happy together so i moved the one I thought was not imminently due back to the main tank.
I moved the wrong one. I think she released in the tank, and only one made it to the sump tank.

The other released these last week, about 9 fry. She is still shy and hiding, you can barely see here in the log thing....

Wow that's so exciting. You will get it right with identifying the holding ones better. Keeping females together is tricky this is why I strip

I found this little guy in the main tank against all odds he survived. Gonna start feeding a little flakes in the water column in the hope he gets food. He's so cute and definitely a yellow lab cross red zebra

Yes he is. Looks to be a jacobfreibergi but I sense a mix as there is some purple on him. Regardless he is stunning

Haha I know this feeling. When you're ready to try stripping them let me know I will try to explain a trick I found watching a tang breeder. And it's so short it's literally 5 seconds. After you spend 1 hour trying to catch her hahahaha

I'll pay you to try lol way too many hiding spots and I'd have to tear the tank down which would make him more likely to be eaten before I can catch him

Seems I have forgotten this tank after the other one came and stole my attention.

This tanks doing excellent with no issues thank God. Threw in some pvc pipes as cover for surviving fry, don't think I will be stripping females anymore even though there always 4 females or more holding in my tank at any given time. I think I have enough to choose from now per species.

Sorry for the cloudy water it was a major clean day today.
