    Hi everyone.

need lighting for my 1.5foot tank. I would like preferably a t8 tube that fits in the canopy. Can I get an LED tube t8 for that size tank?

What other lighting options are there for me? Only current plants in the tank is some salvinia

I have some waterproof LED Strips that you can stick to the cover.
    Cool whites and Grow LED's
Has worked well in both my tanks.
More effecient than tube lights and last longer.

Got em at a company called Future Light here in CT.
But Selling my tanks and the LED strip lights are available if you like.
Also have two Zetlight ZA1200 units available once the stock is sold.

Thanks for the offer man but since you are so far away it would be more feasible to get something here in JHB. Just doing research for now. Doubt I will set up that tank anytime soon

Aqua Empire have small LED lights that they sell either loose, or installed in various size canopies.
Maybe give them a call, and find out if they have for you.

For plants I would recommend something like the Zetlight ZA1200, especially if you get the optional WiFi kit as well.
That would allow you to fully customise the tank lighting.

    Thanks @Pezulu.

Its just for viewing and the only plant in the tank is some Salvinia so not looking to brake the bank.

Will have a look around as I'm not in a rush
