So last weekend. A fish keeping friend and I went to the aquarium in central London. Haven’t been there in about 10 years or so.
The mean focus is marine. But there are a few fresh water tanks. And some reptiles.

That's quite a weird mix but I'm sure still works.

There were Red-eyed Tetras, Guppies & Bristle Noses

I actually thought it was disappointing. They could have done so much more with it in respect of stocking.

Not sure if I shared the one I went to in Dubai. I was highly impressed with the tanks there and the way they were stocked

Have you kept other snakes ??

I am really keen on a GTP. Have done extensive research and it doesn't seem a beginners snake. More for experienced keepers.
Am now thinking of a Royal.
Just have to convince the Mrs

    currently i am not
but yes i have kept snakes had reticulated pythons (my first snakes is on displays at monte casion bird park)
moved over to balls/royals very easy to keep, crazy colors and every morph possible but very unresponsive as pets they are just fancy colored rocks
GTP have not pulled trigger due to there high prices for captive babies and difficulty keeping humidity up during highveld winters

    From my research.
A GTP goes for about £450
A Royal (not one of the super fancy morphs) but still nice, starts around £100
