The rescape part with you is always a problem. Very happy that the bba is sorted for now.

The music on the video complements the scape.

scary right ... pay it little to no attention ... dump an airstone in it - leave it.... I swear the more and longer we do the stuff the more I realise the less you do to it the better it can work.

Still not running any heaters ...

    upload_2019-6-1_7-40-57.png

But temps are contant .... do need to do a top-up so that is now risky.

Fish are doing fine - heating well etc.

    Leave it a while longer.

See form last years stats I was running the tank at 22 ... tweaking it to stick between 18 and 19. Since I am running cold room aeration.

Without sounding too stupid but what is cold room airation?

I also started adding some heaters to tanks as for some weard reasons night temps are colder than last year, in the fish room. Wish I could run all my tanks at 17/18.

I am not pre-heating the air for the air pumps that are running 24x7 ... so that will cause loads of heat loss.

Yeah 18 degrees is ok for my stock - plants do not like it that cold but hey ..

    upload_2019-6-2_15-15-39.png

Around 80 minutes to move it 2 degrees. Everything is working as expected - will baseline it for a day or two before thinking more about fitting covers.

    upload_2019-6-2_15-21-47.png
If history is anything to go by then we are in it now for 6 to 8 weeks then one can look at pulling some of the equipment again. Danger is the cold snaps - I am just adding now for that cold snap that will come.

Happy with the heater only kicking in a few times during the night and a good consistent temp in the tank since the heater was introduced.

Was very cold last night ... room dipped
    upload_2019-6-8_12-42-31.png

Heater kicked in 3 times .. so added a second eheim to the room in 36 degrees - it was sitting at under 17 degrees. BNS do not like it that cold so had to make a plan.

    upload_2019-6-8_12-44-54.png

This should up the avg room temp a bit with two tanks on heaters now.

Very interesting to see the relationship between temp and humidity.

Yeah since I added the heater the evapouration in Lucky13 about doubled - maybe a bit more, so instead of adding the glass tops this year, I am going with gutters. Not that the these LED tubes need them they are very directional.

Also probably around a year 9 months ... this tank is cruising for a rescape / cut shuffle. No clue why but I like doing this in winter - maybe cause the room is warmer than the rest of the house?
