Yes he also said like I mentioned it is better to start off with a big group as they grow up together and you then have less aggression.... enjoy it and keep us updated with their growing out...

Neat and beautiful at the same time, where did you get the rocks from, I went hiking for mine but they don’t look too pretty in my tank.

Thanks @Hlompho Lion, I got the rocks from a friend of mine, where he got them I have no Idea. I probable have the same amount still left
and would love to put them in the tank as well, but I don't have more eggcrate and cant seem to find them in CPT. Also these rocks
are heaver than they look and don't want to add more wight to the bottom. So going to save them for another tank just need the minister of
home affair to agree oh and get the finances.

    Hi All

Update time, installed my Fluval FX5 Yesterday, I bought 2 FX5's a few weeks back second hand. Both was working.
I stripped them, cleaned them and replace all the seals. (this filter as a hell of a lot of seals). The other FX5 I will keep as spares.
The Blue clips we printed on a 3d printer to replace the lid clips as they were all brittle or broken. The impellers were still fine so no
need to replace. The standard hoses that came with the filters were leaking so I decided Hard plumbing it will be and it looks a lot nicer as well.
The internal filter I will remove in a week or two

If you like you can remove the sponges from the internal filters and dump them in the FX5, no harm no foul.
