Mobile Style

    A new Mobile Style has been installed. :)

    It has VERY low bandwidth requirements so should help save a lot for those with data limits, plus it will speed things up immensely on mobiles. It uses roughly 15 times less data than the normal style - as an example for the forumhome page it reduces the page size from 154kb down to 13kb.

    You can select it by using the drop down menu at the very bottom left of any page on the forum, or I think it should auto-detect if you are on a mobile device and automatically select that style for you, if you want to browse using the normal TASA style then you can simply click on the "PC Mode" link at the top right hand side of the mobile style.

    Any changes to tapa talk at all, or will this only affect moblie internet borwsers?

    I see there's an updated mobile style for the site. I like it a lot. You can do a lot more now. Thanks admins :)

    Don't hope tapatalk gets affected, I'm still getting used to using it :) moreover, thanks to tapatalk I'm beginning to show up in the forum again.

    @Ferryman, i wouldnt be able to say, as i'musing a nokia n8 with opera mini, but it doesnt seem to be a major update, its just a bit easier to navigate and also to reply to posts, etc.


    oh yes and its, good to see you back again, i noticed that you seemed a bit scarce ;)

    Heh, I was scarce. See the update in my 4ft thread you'll see the hobby suffered with me these last two years.
    Trying to rebuild and get back into keeping fish properly. Also trying to get a lush planted tank up and running again.

    Its actually scary to check the date of my last active posts and notice ive really been gone almost 2 years (there were occasional visits, maybe one or two posts)
    I dont think I even had a smart phone back then. Just opera mini, and a 2Gb data package to share with the household. :)

    How do I "lock" it in the mobile style every time I go back or to next page it automatically goes back to the normal style?
