Cool, as a suggestion, mix in some black paint with the blue to get to a "midnight blue", it's not a flat as black, and more natural than the brighter blues you often see on tanks. Test a small area, being acrylic you dan easily scrape it off

I completely agree with you. I would never have only some parts that supports the base of the tank
It is definitely safer to have a piece of whatever wood cover and then polystyrene the whole base of the tank.
    Anyways, great big tank

everyone has their own option , thanks for yours...
but majority of big tanks that I have seen has no wood. Also , not just some of the support have polystyrene , ALL of the supportings has 30mm on.
    Thanks anyway

Thanks for your advice , I have actually seen this specific blue on tanks before , and love it - it's a Marine blue , not the baby blue that are commonly used, you will love the end results...

Mooi man. You give me confidence and inspiration in my design. I like the tripple layer bracing. The blue background looks good.

Looking good, itching to build another, but with a 6ft and 4ft in the house the wife will never allow it. What kind of silicone are you using, and how tubes have you used up to now?

Question on the Front and rear panels. Did you place them on top of the base or on the side?

the base on the stand , then the sides go onto that one to form the "cube"
the 2nd & 3rd base(pieces actually) then go on the inside on top of the first base
