Hi All Ok so this is what I have been up to the last few weeks. here is my 60lt tank that has been cycling for about 6weeks now. in the tank I have PFP with chemicult as a substrated with pool filter sand to cap it. I am not sure what plants I have in the tank so maybe you guys can help me ID them. The Temp of the tank is a constant 26deg's The tank gets cycles through the filter about 9 times per Hour. what I want to stock in my tank: 6x Panda Corries 6x Glowlight Tetras 2x Kribs (breeding pair) 6x Otto's I was planning on putting in 4 Flying foxes (small) to get rid of the BBA, then remove them to a bigger tank later 6x rummy noses 6x X-ray Tetras What do you guys think? Please give me some feed back and Advice so I can make this tank as awesome as possible. Thanks

@Gareth: First picture, red/green plant in the background is a Crypt species. Second picture plant in the middle is an Anubai. Maybe someone else can help with the other plants.

    Ok A quick update
    I have added:
    12x Glowlight Tetras
2x Panda corries (I have ordered the other 4 they should be here by Friday)

    I have ordered for friday
    4X Panda corries
    6x Oto's
and maybe a Half moon Betta, all depending on what colour they get in and so on.
I will still be getting the 2x Kribs just not sure on when that will be and I don't want to add to many fish at once, do want to have ammonia spikes or any type of spike.
How long should I wait before adding any other fish, is a week enough or should I wait longer?

what other fish would you guys recommend for my tank I am trying to keep them in the 4cm to 6cm range.

I noticed today that the glowlight tetras are nibbling at the plants.
Does anyone know if they will eat or destroy my plants or are they just "cleaning".
If they are going to eat my the plants then I must take them back to the Lfs.

    Ok an update
so I figured out what was making the plants go brown, it was to much light.
I am now using a timer that puts my lights on and off during the day and so far the plants are looking much better.

I have also added more fish to the tank and thanks to @f-fish there is now moss growing on the coconut shells and on the drift wood.
tank is really starting to look good, just need to do a water change over the weekend then I will post some new pic.

I don't think it is the light that us causing your plants to melt. Are you dosing any ferts? The h. difformis looks like it has some deficiencies.

How the plants doing on the new timer?
BTW I learned earlier this year that moss actually likes high ferts also but at a cooler temperature.

    Later Ferdie

I am adding Qrgasnic Auga fert that I got from some one a while back, is there something better to use?
I am aslo going to get my CO2 system soon so that might help as well

Plants are looking better but not as good as they should.
