I bought him / her in November last year, and he / she was about 4 maybe 5 cm long.

I don't even know what pleco it is, but it's growing very nicely, measured last night, it's 9 cm long already.

First started out in my 150 liter tank, with gold fish, then goldfish went to the pond, then came the guppies, and i wanted convicts, so he shared a tank with them, but they started abusing him...

So i removed and moved him to my 40 liter tank in the room, but he wasn't happy at all...

So now, he came to his final home, in my 5 ft tank...

He loves staying in the ship, and waits for his two pallets morning and night time...

Got this pic of him just after he ate last night.

@Fishlips, it's a high fin or leopard "pleco" or Pterygophlichthyd gibbiceps. You need to feed if vegetables like baby marrow, peas, spinach etc as well as algea wafers, provide driftwood as well, they need wood in their diet. It also needs meaty food so blood worms, pellets etc need to reach the bottom, always good to leave some food at lights out, they are active at night.
the gibbiceps can easily grow 2cm per month, and will reach 35 - 40cm under the right conditions. Bit messy, but cool fish.

Here's a pic of one of them. Still really small but you can see the tail size in comparison to the body.
