So I'm getting shrimp next week Yay !!! I'm just making a small post on my tanks and the progress I've been making. What my plans are for the future any advice and comments will be apreciated.
First tank is my Mutt guppy tank 450l 3ft high tank. The second 2ft is my grow out tank soon to be my shrimps temp home till I can sort out the 3rd tank still looking at what tank I'm going to be using.
Will be adding some new plants live ones and getting rid of the ghastly plastic stuff soon.
Also have some nice drift wood that's being treated and bleeding out the tannins before I'm adding it will send more pics soon !!!
Special thanks to @Whoknows for all his help your awsome !!!

Well currently I'm using some cobblestones in the guppy tank going to use some pool filters sand on half and cobblestone on the other side soon the cobble stones make a nice maze for fry to hide. The smaller tank is some type of crushed rock. Small tank is LED and the bigger one has a plant grow florescent light. My focus is mostly on floating plants and mosses as it's more for fry to hide in than aesthetics. But my hornwort seems to be flourishing grows about 2 cm a day.

Yeah hortnwort grows like crazy, and what i like to see is before lights out they start folding up their leaves as well. If your light ever drops you, I am running a cheap Jebo LED light thats great lighting wise, but hinges are real made in china quality and sometimes it drops off in to the water but still works.

Why you breading so many guppies?

Great @Thomas O`Reilly that first tank is huge!
Yes with pool filter sand and root tabs you have many options for easy plants, let us know if you need some suggestions. And the epiphytic plants on the driftwood too. Will look great!

    Hi @Thomas O`Reilly

Not sure if i welcomed you before so.. welcome to the forum

The tank looks lovely, look forward to the progress
    Very nice piece of wood

Just one thumbs up onthe coble substrate, remember that in the same way as fry might hide in it, it traps dirt and uneaten food so you have to keep that in mind when you do your weekly maintenance and do a good gravel vac
Floating plants in my opinion are better for fry to hide
