Thanks @BoelderBeestie , nice to know what others have done

Yes, Metro is weak and not well absorbed through the skin so in more serious cases you probably need to go high dosage
I have only ever gone up to 15mg/l on some ray pups that came in in poor shape and also had to do it in the water as they wouldnt eat but I was also told you could go up to 34mg/l
I actually did a Metro/Prazi combination which worked well
They also looked worse than bettter the first 4 days but after the 4th day started pouncing on their food

With pups (4 legged ones) used to do 7 days, wait 10 days and then do another 7 days so I did the same with the ray pups.

Glad they all doing well now.... it is nerve wrecking when they in that condition and you see them wasting away...

Been a while since the last update but things have changed here a lot. Finally have a dedicated fish room and a lot of water to play with. Everything is made easy with water lines and pumps, just need to neaten up the place.

    The discus room.

When it rains it pours. These two still breed like flies.

    Thanks @MariaS
Do it, it's worth it and with big systems like you have the maintenance isn't a problem at all.

Awesome. Completely green with envy on the Japura greens. I never was a big fan of the red discus but pigeon bloods are looking better each time I see a picture of them.

Now this is brilliant. Been away from the hobby and forums.
Time to get my learning and diy on.
    Nice idea with the fridge.
