My vieja zonatus.

My good time with my vieja what a amazing fish shy at first but after that wow!

got my vieja in december 2012 to october 2013 in that time went from 6cm to 21cm diet was tetra prima and brime shrimp at first

later went over to hikari pellets(once a day) and got frozen brime shrimp as a snack twice a week!

Someting come up and i had to get rid of my 700L tank so the vieja had to go(sad) my vieja was also the reason my jaguar cichlid died!

become one bad ass cichlid!

but miss and loved all about this amazing cichlid and some stunning colours!

 

Very good looking fish, and nice pictures too. Sorry to hear it had to go but it sounds like you had quite the memorable experience with it.

Here's hoping you manage to get another nice specimen (or two) in the future.

lol, jay i dont think a zonatus and a fire eel will work in a 4ft if they can i will of taken them both
