So - and I can not remember if I have ever done this ... try cutting a pot in 1/2, that should make cool cone like hideout.

I like red clay stuff in a tank ... tank looks super clean.

This just after a WC or is it normally this clear?

    Nice looking tank dude!

Only one suggestion from me, since you have another heater in your sump, do you really need that big one in the main tank? Larger masses of water generally tend to hold the temperature better than small tanks. So since you're pumping in warmed water from your sump into the main tank, you could get away with removing it. One of my main reasons for setting up a tank with sump is to remove all unsightly equipment from my display tank. I kept a planted tank with heavily stocked fish quite happily with the only heater in the sump, out of sight.

Thank u Neville, as for the heater the one in the sump is more of a back up heater as its only 150W the 300w that is in the tank does not fit in my sump. the sump one comes on rarely so for me its works good. for me its not all about the look of the tank is more of the look of the fish and to get is to grow to full size and look healthy. i mostly do cichlids so these type off setups work in general for. Thank u for the tip..

Its looking great so you must be happy

Interesting.. did you have a problem with the bamboo messing the tank?
I tried to see if some shoots would grow in my internal filters but they didn't really do well..

    Hi all

So needed to make a bit of change to the tank well livestock hehe, The pleco i added is one very active pleco but the GT looked sad if i can put it like that very scared easily and not as active. but i did add a few extra lads hehe. 2x golden tinfoils and jaguar note jag is half the size of the gt maybe even smaller. GT looks more active and shows of better.

Was thinking of getting one more Tinfoil and to keep jag alone with them as center piece but will see how it goes. will upload pictures over the weekend.
