For those that did see the post, a little while back I posted a a High back Gold Arowana that came in
    for me
I did say at the time that I wasnt sure how things would pan out and what would eventually happen as there were promises that had been made which I was not sure would be kept but we would only know in the new year

What had happened was that she was not what we had actually ordered but we were promised that it would be corrected
We decided to keep her pending on what would happen

Promises were kept and the two new babies arrived about three weeks ago

24k Gold Asian Arowana and one for Cesar which he can post himself

    Nice Arowana.
Does the 24k refer to the colour, or the price? :)

Pictures are great, but a video would do it so much justice!

Can't wait to see more of it!

    Thanks @Pezulu

The 24k refers to the colour

High back, the gold usually goes to about the 5th scale.
Cross back the Gold goes to the 6th scale with very prominent pearlies at the beginning of the tail and top fin
The 24k, the whole fish is completely Gold. The 24k relates to ( like a 24k gold bar)

    Thanks @Hooks

    We have 4

Cesar has Snoopy who is the eldest of the lot.. its now about 5 years old
He said he was going to update the thread on his other tank so Im sure he will post some pictures

I have Spooky who is about 2 and half years old and that's a Red

And now the two babies that came in
The 24k is mine the Blue Base is Cesar's and will go into the new tank once its ready and they a bit bigger as right now they would be an expensive snack for the rays
For now they both in the grow out tank.. so far they getting along although they have they squabbling moments but I switch on the wave maker and they settle down so hopefully they will behave together for as long as we need them to, to put on some size

So amazing. I love watching my silver arow swim so peacefully as he watches over his tank mates.

    Thanks @BoelderBeestie....

Haahha shame.... I actually feel sorry for them as, the Asian Aro is blacklisted in the States at the moment.
I enjoy posting, sharing and learning but its not to make people jelly...
They fighting for it but, so far no luck
I also don't often post in general on MFK, when I do, its mainly on the Stingray forum where I have made a number of friends across the World over the years and much help and knowledge has been shared in that time.

pretty dam good starting point looking how pretty both of them are.
Are you going to try house the 24k with your red in the future.
what is difference between a 24k and a crossback golden?
is the 24k just a higher quality crossback?

hopefully usa laws do not change for a while, well at least till i have a chance to get a aro.
think a market that big and that rich will double the price and destroy availability for a good few years
