Added two more angelfish yesterday and their pecking order have been sorted out so everything is calm again
I saw after adding the new fish that one of the older ones and a new one developed these dark spots by the eyes as seen in the last picture. Do anyone know why?
Great looking tank, congrats.
Probably a form of intimidation, trying to show dominance, lots of fish change color when you add new fish, nothing to worry about.
Awesome tank really a great show tank!......TOTM?:blink1:
awesome tank buddy
your setup is making me want to setup my 4ft
Thank you, maybe i will try next month
Can you give us an update on your equipment in use currently - filteration, etc?
Lighting is a led from a company called aquashine led. It's not some sophisticated piece of equipment, but it's much cheaper and it make me see my fishes and it grows my plants. It's a single 3foot red blue and white light.
I've got a cascade 1500 filter on there.
I use some seachem flourish and root tabs. I didn't have any algea problems until i removed my two cae but i will get some ottos to fix this. My lights are on from 7 in the mornings till atleast eleven or twelve in the evenings, as I am a student, I should probably get a timer.
How about an update with pics
Love this tank
Thank you i will post some tonight
Sorry for the very late reply
Did a rescape over the weekend waiting for it to grow in
