Got point. Save the cube for tank 4

I might have a 75 cube for sale in a few months if you want to get a big cube:lol:

I'm thinking like a 60x50cm (that's why "almost cube"), but will definitely keep my eyes out for it in case it can fit on the cabinet I have!
We're hoping to start building soon so I can't really start a cube right now anyway, so it will only be possible in a couple of months anyway. Just the brain ticking and planning at this stage.

I'm thinking that this huge tank was in the line of a birthday present as I have a birthday coming up and given recent situations I do need some cheering up. Nothing like a large aquarium to fix any sadness yeah?

Isn't it just beautiful when your spouse is part of your hobby even though they play almost no part in it besides deciding if you can get a bigger tank or not haha.

@HugBug on the note of a cube. I think they are excellent tanks. I just need to get moving with mine.

Building a double garage and converting current single garage into a study/man cave for dh.
I might just convince him a nice planted tank would be a great relaxing addition to his study

Hubby was very sceptical about the tanks, but having seen the planted one has really won him over. I often catch him staring at it, watching the fish.

The way its positioned I can view it from both the front and side (depending which chair I sit on) and I keep thinking it would be so awesome if the side was also long and deep, hence the plan to hopefully turn it into a cube (or almost cube) in the near future.
Somehow gives a whole new dimension to the tank when they're deeper (as in length and depth, not talking height so much).

Do NOT put your tank in the hubby’s study, trust me. Had the QT in the study then lockdown happened and all of the sudden it was the hubby’s space. Could hardly get in there during working hours and that poor tank just went south. Moved it out mid December

Oh yes! And once your youngest one is a bit older, open top perhaps? Adds yet another viewing dimension. Can just imagine a cube with driftwood sticking out and emersed growth...
