Hi I just returned to the forum as I plan to start up another tank once I'm in the UK and settled, I've missed aquascaping so much that I'm now watching videos and reading on everything that I may have forgotten about. So is it just me or is the alerts not working? I just got a reply to the one thread but no alerts appearing. Just only the alerts for the competitions that you guys hold every month. Now that I'm here, it seems that the alerts aren't working. Any idea of why this is happening?
hI @Rainstorm , Apologies... was out with family and havent been online today To best of my knowledge, the alerts are working... Just double check your alert settings on your profile and lets see
I I did, all ticked. Maybe its because I've been AFAIK for so long, it's only starting now. Thanks @MariaS. Weird system, sometimes I can't fathom technology. Lol. On another forum, it took 40 minutes for email notifications and I got really irritated because it involved my security settings that needed be confirmed within 15 minutes. Owner didn't response, obviously didn't care until I told a mod who I happened to be good friends with - he made a big fuss over it, with my account being hacked and I couldn't even do a password change...
Ok.... My alerts are working, lets see what Admin says @Zebra Pleco . @butcherman ... please could you check for us..
Hi @MariaS I've replied to a new thread today and I'm not getting alert notifications. I've rechecked my alert settings and they're all ticked in. Very strange that they are not working. I checked the thread and it appears that I'm "not" watching it. One should automatically watch a thread when you type in a comment. Have I missed something?
