At that time we lived on a farm in the Lowveld, bordering on the Kruger Park.

Stinky has been handed over to FreeMe Wildlife - my mpm wanted to leave him at home and no one to feed him through yhe day. I said hell no, you dont leave a baby animal at home with no one to feed it all day. Forced her to go there bec the bird will get the care it needs and they will rehabilitate it back to the wild properly.

Don't have many on my phone. BUT I have good quality gopro footage of every tank there which I'll eventually add together into a video. My favourite african river tank was too dark unfortunately for good film

Maria PM me your number for more of this if you want:

Reading about raising your mom's wild pidgeon @Rainstorm. Had a bad and good experience. Also picked up one when I was std6. Hand raised it for a week and one day the bullies decided to throw my book bag around in class. The little guy unfortunately died, but that was the day the bullying also stopped.

Oh shame the poor thing - at least the bullying stopped.

The pigeon went to FreeMe Wildlife on Thursday - kinda missed the bird but I know it's in a better place to be raised with other birds and that it will get rehabilitated properly back to the wild. It's a rock pigeon - we all discussed it in there and there was even a book on birds on the reception counter so I quickly flipped to the page - that confirmed it for us.

Eish that's not cool. I'm lucky where I live right now, my tanks stays between 20 and 23.

On another note, I'm thinking of not coming back to the forums - tired of people picking on me and trying to be clever with me - giving me the notion that I look stupid to them.

    Ladder-of-Accountability.png

I often wonder why people respond on threads .. and sometimes I even get philosophical about it - not that I think I am any good at it. The above is from a typical internet motivational page https://associatesmind.com/2013/06/17/a-critical-factor-for-success-accountability/

and it works well when you need to talk about how we naturally react and why we do, the result of which is not always what one would expect.

Underpinning any form of communication I think should start from a point of mutual respect, true we all loose our nut at times, but only I can change that behavior for myself. Nobody wants to be a slave to others and freedom of thought and speech many have died for. In my world your greatest asset is your experiences of life, the second must be the ability to learn. I am amazed at the volume young minds consume large amounts of information, yet realize that without the experience of applying it - it is only an O2 consuming amazon alexa. Sure forums - just like any internet data driven platform, does not allow you to see and read the other people on the thread. You can not see if they are happy, sad, in tears - raving mad or just being a class A pratt, having nothing better to do than add fuel to fire.

When the digital life is causing a hart rate increase or makes you regret what you have posted - it is probably time to unplug for a while, get some vitamin D and use the time to asses your state of mind so that you can change your behavior form being a victim to one that is accountable.

Truth is what, happens on the forum is almost never the issue, but rather a release that gets dumped for all to read.

We also tend to take ourselves too serious in life ... lighten up you only get to live it once in your current form.

    Later Ferdie
