There's a lot less noise which is fantastic. Was able to push the D7200 up to a high ISO before getting any noise. Colours are slightly different as I haven't set the profile yet.

    Now for the fun:

Seems like you had some fun playing with the new toys. What always gets me on new cameras is the speed of taking a photo. It is so bad that when I go back to an older one, I am like seriously how did I manage to taken an pictures with this in the past.

    Had loads of fun :)

Yes, I was pleasantly surprised by the how silent the shutter is and how much faster it felt.

    Beautiful photos!
(My camera is not too bad, but I do not know the technical side of taking photos well.)

Thanks all :) Very happy with my new toy.
@lennard, hopefully we can get that article out soon to assist you :) In the mean time, you're welcome to ask any questions you may have and we'll help you where we can.
No greater feeling (ok except successfullyl raising fry) than taking a photo and it comes out the way you want it to (believe me, I still get shoddy photos)

And the opposite is also true.
Coming home from an outing/photo shoot, uploading the photos and they aren't as good as you had hoped.

Or waking up at sparrows fart, rushing to the beach in the dark, walking for 20 minutes to the spot that chose for a sunrise shoot and watching the most beautiful colours developing as dawn approaches. Camera is on the tripod. I turn it on to set up my exposure.... Nothing! How could there be anything? The battery is in my charger, in my kitchen:(. I normally have a fairly flowery vocabulary, but this time I was too depressed to even let loose.

Ouch :( I'd cry... hasn't happen to me, but I've missed a shot because I forgot my lens cap on.

Eeek, yes I know that one... did a maternity shoot (thankfully as a favour), and only got 3 good photos. How embarressing.

My worst is when I come to SA and go to Kruger.
Always think I am taking awesome photos.
But when I load them up on my computer, I am always disappointed.

Ours were set to release the shutter even if no memory card is inserted.... Do I need to add to that.

I did that recently when I was on the Otter trail
Fortunately I discovered it after a day, so didn't lose too many photos.

Geez, now that truly sucks... you can't go back any time soon and will more than likely not see the same things you saw before.
