Pics of my one shrimp. Eggs or fatal illness, or both?

    Hi

I have had some shrimp tank woes but I am sorting myself out. One of my shrimp look like this which my LFS suggested might be some sort of fungal or bacterial infection when I showed them a picture. They did not think it looked right. One was of the opinion it was carrying diseased eggs, but the general consensus was that it was something bad, wait until it passes and only introduce more shrimp later.

That being said, it just looks like eggs to me if I search for YouTube videos or try to find out what is going on through basic googling. Any suggestions, thoughts or further insight?

Oh and then lastly, any idea what that last shrimp is? I may have gotten it from a LFS selling me a bag of "assorted" shrimp but I'm curious as its colourings are quite distinctive!

With my little experience with shrimp, I cannot see anything wrong here. Looks like the shrimp is berried, but nothing else. Maybe the guys with more experience can give their views.

Thanks. My other reds are gone with the exception of a small shrimp with a red/clear mottling so I think I need to get some more to give her a chance to breed.

What size mesh are your filter intake. Don't want you to lose any babies sucked up there

Not entirely sure but the mesh does look much bigger than the babies in those zoomed in pics. Got it from www.shrimpcity.co.za so presume it is the right thing to use with baby shrimp. :)
