Yes it does not stop to the point where I did not want to continue but the water just kept coming. By the time I took the pic we were already pumping water to the 2ft

Honestly if it wasn't for my dad I would of throw in the towel. He said its a minor setback because now it force us to get the plants in the top tank

Thanks guys I'm certainly looking forward to doing nothing tomorrow. Will upload pictures once the tank clears.

Plants is not nearly enough to make a difference in the tank.

Need to get co2 tank filled and purchase lily pipes.

Slowly but surely... Clearing up. Been struggling with a leak on the bigger canister.

No filter media in it yet so the Tetra 700 is the only canister clearing up.

Is this normal for wood that is soaking?

Looks good. Yup, thats normal. Will take a few weeks to clear, and is harmless. Sometimes it looks like a fine white spiderweb

Sorry about all the hiccups so far, but once you're finished with this tank it's all going to be so worth it! Looks amazing already:thumbup:

During 10% water change my tank drop 2 degrees from 25 to 23.1. Keep in mind in winter our water is colder out of the tap.

I want to find out if this change in temp is fine for dwarf cichlids and German blue rams?

If not, can I use a kettle to warm water (not boil) and bring the new water up a degree or 2?

I also struggle with this protein layer on the water surface and hoping that lily pipes will cause enough surface movement.

I am looking for a glass skimmer intake if it is not too expensive (in the event the lily pipes outlets doesn't help)
