    That seems a bit better.

Crystal clear - true I do have some wood tannins tinge, but that is perfectly ok.

Hard to believe what a difference the aiiration bell has made.

    Did around 30% wc yesterday.
The crypt babies seem to dig the Langa (were in pfs before), pushing out a new leaf each.
The blue thread and superglue stains on the windelov looks just splendid

Ja - I have no cure for the super glue spillage.

Tank would look super cool if you only had 1 type of moss .., mixed moss gets messy in no time flat.

Langa does well for a few seasons .. have not had any turn to mud. Nice growth allround.

Thanks yes I have no problems removing the java moss, for example. It looks messy already :)
If I do decide to keep this scape longer term, could perhaps look into something that can kind of carpet in the lowest of low tech which is quite an ask. Ideas welcome

For the superglue...only remedy is to wait for the plants to cover ir unfortunately

Edit: ok not quite the lowest of low tech. It has active substrate and a light. It can get lower than that

All is good in the tank. Added some cinnamon.

    P5160810.jpg

Not sure about the placing of it .. will how it brakes down.
    P5160811.jpg

Must be the oils in the stick that is causing the bubbles that is now on the surface near the exhaust of the bell.

    P5160812.jpg

The big rock is growing on me ... might leave it as it is.

    P5160813.jpg

Hmm if I look at those bubbles above and this little present left by the snail .. I think I need to add some SUPER EM. See if that cleans it up.

I also like the big rock, and the plants will soften it a bit eventually.
    What is super EM?

    Some bugs ..

    P5160823.jpg P5160824.jpg

If I remember correctly super EM - has sea salt in it .. so easy on that dosing, Pro-soil has more sugars ... but I flip between dosing these two...

Local product so happy to support.

Looks really cool but jeepers, talk about overcomplicating things with 101 different types of glue and what not.

Siphoned off the java moss :)
And these crypt babies are not planted in the right spot, they’ll soon outgrow the setup.

This one still going, doing well. Not sure what to do about the white water stains on the wood?

Thoroughly messed up the cap a while back trying to plant all sorts of fragments, including strands of lilliopsis brasilensis, crypt parva. The parva insists on escaping. The vallis nana were tiny babies when planted but already outgrowing the setup so will move soon.

Note - it’s an empty nerite shell. Perhaps a bit macabre but too pretty to throw away I think :)

It is very floaty and insists on dropping like a boat in the water.

^^^^^ bos or java ... still has a safe spot to park next to the tanks.

    P5200880.jpg

Hmmm probably not ideal, but had to move the tank from the right back to the left middle of my working space. This meant that an unplanned WC was done - 80% plus. All seems to have survived so we good.

Two days and I am liking the new spot for this tank.

    P5230911.jpg

Do not think the HC will do well here, but have to give it a spin.

    P5230913.jpg
    P5230915.jpg

Simple single light - nice thing is the light also drops on the keyboard.

    P5230920.jpg

Not sure if I am using the bell correctly, but the tank has no issues at the moment so that must count for something.

So this happened yesterday. That little bit of cycled substrate in the bottom of the bucket after a gravel vac is too precious to throw away :)

Getting pretty ridiculous, it’s flower arranging more than anything else

Haha, nice - I think that concept could work really well in a tall & slim vase, with a long root structure on display.
